On 8th March 2025, Astitva Social Welfare Foundation celebrated the dedication and selfless service of women in healthcare with its annual initiative, ‘Women – Glory for Her Dedication to Service’. This special event recognized and honored Women Medical Officers, Nurses, and Health Helpers, whose tireless efforts are improving healthcare and transforming lives.

To express gratitude for their service, certificates of appreciation were awarded to 160 women, acknowledging their invaluable contributions. The event also extended its support to new mothers through the Baby Kit Distribution Initiative, ensuring that families welcoming newborns between March 4th and March 8th received essential baby care kits. Delivered directly to their homes across villages and Padas in Shirpur Taluka, these kits provided newborn essentials and maternal care items, making the journey into motherhood a little easier.

This initiative isn’t just a one-time event—it’s a promise to keep honoring, supporting, and empowering women every year on International Women’s Day. Moving forward, Astitva Social Welfare Foundation is committed to expanding its reach, recognizing women across various service sectors, strengthening maternal healthcare, and spreading awareness on women’s health and well-being.
